Hockey activation for Coca-Cola & KHL

Competitive digital project

Goal

Tell about the Coca-Cola support of The Kontinental Hockey League in an unconventional way by creating an entertaining activation with prizes for users.

By 2018 KHL play-off games we developed a promo website with a test in which the quickest and savviest users won (as in hockey). A mandatory condition to participate in the giveaway was to share your result in social media.

For 1.5 months we determined 20 weekly winners that received hockey sweaters in Coca-Cola branded colour scheme.

  • Website design
Each question was accompanied by a video fragment of the KHL games (in page background) related to the question.
Looking at this fragment, users tried to guess the players’ actions.
The design was immersing users in the process and creating the atmosphere a genuine hockey game.

  • Media support
Creating banners, SMM posts and newsletters.

Result

The project involved users from various cities of Russia:

215 975 visitors of the website.

22 290 participants in the test.

3 613 shares of test results in social media.
